For the surveys returned, 4 families who reported low household income reported no engagement in their child’s education. Similarly, 4 families who reported high household income reported no engagement in their child’s education. On the other hand, 28 families who reported low household income reported not being engaged in their child’s education. Similarly, 16 families who reported high household income reported being engaged in their child’s education. A Chi-Squared Test was ran using these results. This test showed that there is not a significant difference between the categories.
