Letter to Senior Neal

Dear Neal,

Alright senior Neal, this is freshman Neal. I’m expecting a lot out of you. By now, you should have figured out where you’re going next, whether it be graduate school or some other place. You should have gotten some internships and research experience done. By the time you leave Longwood I’m expecting you to have mastered pretty much everything the physics department has thrown at you.

In terms of service, go on some far away expedition to build a church or something. I’m sure there’s a house in Africa that needs you handy work, so go ahead and help. And keep picking up trash, some people are nasty.

Don’t forget your friends. They’ve all had a great impact on your life whether they realize it or not, so keep going to basketball games and making fun of people with mouth guards.

Sincerely, Freshman Neal

Have Fun
