This was my first assignment of the year. It consisted of the Bad-News Letter and the Persuasive Letter. I had written a few Letters in High School, but never in college. The directions were a little were specific than what I was used to. I relied a lot on my textbook for guidance and help. It helped me by showing me examples and giving me pointers on how to introduce my concern as well as how to conclude. I chose prompts that correlated with one another overall, which I think helped me overall. The prompts related to Potholes being fixed in my community. Although I have never had a pothole issue I felt this prompt was the most relatable and the one I’d be able to write about the easiest. In conclusion, it helped me learn how to be professional and how to present a problem in a professional manner.
