I created three behavioral requirements for my students to follow and exhibit during our lessons and regular education in my classroom. First, we need to appreciate our friends. Just because someone has different opinions and beliefs than you do not mean they’re necessarily wrong. Second, I anticipate everyone participating actively in all our lessons. Last, but not least, I kindly ask that you all pay great attention so that you can gain an understanding of our lesson and enjoy yourself, for what is a school without fun?
It is important to establish precise behavioral expectations because it gives students concrete guidelines that assist them understand what those expectations actually entail. When children are aware of what is expected of them, they are less likely to engage in inappropriate conduct.
