For social studies, we use Google Slides, interactive notebooks, and the textbook alongside various activities/videos if needed. Within our Google slides made by the school students are given the same information that is in the interactive notebook. That means I will go through different slides, which have information and pictures with words that can either be folded, highlighted, or underlined to which they will fill in the blanks in their notebook. After we go through the slides, we take time to discuss any questions they have, and they are given posted notes in the middle of the table so at any time they have questions they can write them down, and when we come to a closing, I can answer any questions they have. Again, as I mentioned earlier, in VA Studies we use history textbooks, and we must read various paragraphs together and either use Ask, Ask, Trade cards to review, in which students go around the classroom and quiz one another until they can answer all the study questions correctly and confidently.
