Hey you(me? us? hey.),

Today is January 12th, 2018. Some magic time travel stuff called aging is going to happen and bam, You’ll be a senior reading this. You’re almost done with your first degree.  4 years down, one more to go. I hope that you’re happy and have enjoyed almost every moment along the way (not only is it impossible to enjoy EVERY moment, but the not so good ones make the best ones seem even better!).  I have no idea how these next years are going to go, but we’ve got a plan and a passion, so as far as I can see with our nearsighted eyes, you’ll get through your challenges and plow through the easy stuff. There’s so much ahead of you. Everyone says you’re giving yourself too many classes, but it’s all planned out that classes are to be taken when they are, and the first semester was just fine with that many.

You can do this. No matter how tough, you can do it! Don’t let anyone kill your optimism. You’re going to take this world by storm and do what you are passionate about. If you can keep a roof over your head, food in the fridge, and love in your heart, then none of the rest matters. Congratulations, you’ve got this, and I believe in you. I have this. We have this. You have this.

With kind queerness,

freshman you(me? us? hey, whoever 🙂 )
