Reflection:
The news release was an interesting document to work on. This assignment was a new format for us to use to present the same information as the brochure. In this document, we were able to elaborate more on the features of our product, how it worked, and why it was created. The length requirement of this assignment allowed us to create more sentences instead of bulleted lists and short phrases. Plain English was still just as important, but we were able to employ it in a different way. This document really let me expand my abilities with the use of plain English because this was a format I was already somewhat familiar with. We also had all of our information together from creating the brochure. This meant that I was able to focus solely on how I worded pieces of information.
