In Sociology 233, Social Inequality, I learned how to apply theories of social inequality, explain class, race, gender, and how privilege works in todays society. I also learned how to implement methods that are used to reduce and eliminate social inequality.

In Sociology 220, Self in Society, overall I learned how to understand sociological perspectives and theories of social psychology. I learned how to apply theories of emotions, deviance, prejudice and discrimination as social psychological constructs, as well as theories of identity to be able to understand institutional processes.

In Sociology 205, Deviance, I learned how to interpret different types of deviant behavior from a sociological standpoint. I learned how to use sociological theories to be able to explain deviant behavior. I also learned several different ways I can contribute to control deviant behavior.
