This was the first time I had to make a professional brochure, so it was a bit challenging to get all of the necessary information in a limited document. The information that is included in the brochure came from the press release, which is the portion of this project that I did. I formated the brochure, but my partner filled in all of the information. This project fulfilled the course requirement for producing writing from different workplace genres, creating professional documents, creating a document that uses design elements, and participating in group work. This was the first major partner assignment, my partner and I split the work to create this brochure and the press release. Brochures are a great tool to get information to people in a quick, condensed format, that’s why it is important for us to practice how to create them.
