Scholarship

Scholarship is important to everyone in the Honors College. It isn’t just making good grades, though. Scholarship to me means I must apply myself as best as I can to produce work that is to the best of my ability. Working with integrity, as well, and taking pride in what I write is part of scholarship to me. I’ve managed to achieve great grades this last semester and I hope to do the same next semester to reach my goals of higher education. I’m going to go on to obtain my doctorate degree once I teach for a while at the secondary level and perhaps move on to the college level after that. I want to be a mentor to students that may not have one and bring the joy of literature into student’s lives that are increasingly digital. I plan on doing even better next semester to reach these goals.
