Spanish 201- Intermediate Spanish II, Spring 2017
My Tuesday/Thursday Spanish classes in the spring of 2017 were the most memorable and deepened my understanding and love for the Hispanic culture and Spanish language as a whole. Perhaps the best part about this course, besides Salsa dancing in the middle of class and listening to “The Circle of Life” in Spanish, was my amazing professor, Senora Waggoner. A native of Puerto Rico, she brought a certain Latin spice unlike any Spanish teacher I’ve ever had. She was also very positive and patient with her students that were proficient speakers along with those not as proficient. Overall, her teaching coupled with a phenomenal group of classmates made Spanish my favorite class of the spring semester.
Mi Familia Essay: I discussed family traditions entirely in Spanish.
