Over the Summer of 2022 I worked with Dr. Julian Dymacek and the two selected prism students on their Non-Negative Matrix Factorization project.
This projects goal was to correctly classify as many nocturnal flight calls of birds as possible. Through lots of team work we ended the summer with an accuracy around 80%.
I contributed to this project part time in the Summer while I worked part time in the admissions department. This experience counted for my internship requirement for my Bachelors in Computer Science.
Below is the presentation I presented in CMSC 483 to demonstrate completion of the internship requirement.
