Global Citizenship Pillar

I fully enjoyed learning American Sign Language and learning about deaf culture. Everyday we practice signs such as letters, numbers, and common phrases. My professor emphasized that there is no difference in what hearing or deaf people can do. ASL is visual sign language and sign language/deaf culture is so precious and needs to be protected. Additionally, we learned about famous deaf individuals and the formation of deaf schools across America.
