World Language

Getting the opportunity to learn more about American Sign Language was amazing. Everyday in class we continued to practice signs such as letters, numbers, and common phrases. Additionally, I was able to learn more in the second part of class such as signing in complete sentences, paragraphs, and songs. I was exposed to movies and films completely in sign language. Lastly, it was fascinating to learn more about famous and significant individuals in deaf culture that helped foster their community into what it is today.
