General Chemistry was probably my favorite class in the Spring 2019 semester. I love the type of math chemistry brings to the table. Going into this class I was worried because some of my friends had taken the class and did not do so well, but once I saw how dedicated Dr. Smetana was to teaching the information, I was at ease. This class was unlike the chemistry I took in high school because we incorporated the lab. Working in the lab was the best part of this class because I was able to put the information learned from the class to real life scenarios. Taking this class made me want to continue adding other chemistry classes to my future schedules.
The artifact I decided to attach is one of our many lab reports. During this particular lab we learned about evaporation and the different intermolecular forces in specific substances. Even though this lab did not have the mathematic side of chemistry, it still taught me information I had no idea about before taking this course.
