Overall, my ePortfolio highlights the projects and assignments, I completed throughout my English 400: Active Citizenship Advanced Writing Seminar Course. My portfolio includes an introduction, course journal entries, rhetorical analysis essay, common good project, and a conclusion. ENGL-400 has been one of most beneficial courses I have taken while attending Longwood University. This class has taught me how to use rhetorical devices to appeal to different audiences. ENGL-400 has also equipped me with knowledge and different tools that I can use in my future career when I start working for nonprofits and developing my own nonprofit organizations. I was able to learn skills that will help me when writing grant proposals, designing websites, advertisements, presenting at conferences, and other materials. I love helping people and cannot wait to help others and advocate for different causes. This class will help me be an active citizen in my future career and community.
