Reflection- Taking Chem 111 which is the foundation of chemistry ignited my spark for my love of chemistry. All fall semester I would get so excited just to wake up and go to chemistry lecture and then even more excited when it came to the lab. The one sad part of this class was during the first few weeks of class I had morning practice and then lab that same day I ended up reading a different time for some reason and showed up to a different lab and I was so sad and mad at myself but luckily my professor let me take the lab during a different lab period. After that experience I learned to write my schedule fully out on the back of my door so that never happens again. This chemistry class was such a different experience regarding the grading system that I have never experienced before which was the quest system. This system is the one thing that causes me the most stress all throughout high school I never liked taking quizzes or test that caused me so much stress. I took a different approach this year in hopes of dealing with taking quest because since I switched my major to chemistry they’re going to be apart of all my years of college.
