During my professional writing class, I was tasked to create a brochure with two partners. Our brochure was to promote a newly invented object. When completing this assignment I was able to complete course learning objectives 1,2,4, and 6. Brochures are used by companies to sale their new product. Our group made this brochure in order to sell our “new” solar powered phone. For this brochure to be successful the 8 C’s were used in order to write in plain English. This brochure took many hours to format and design. When creating the brochure, I focused on aligning all of the text and placing each picture in the appropriate location. Although working in a team can be challenging, it provides many opportunities for growth and leadership. For this brochure, I was able to lead in dividing up the work among our team and in the format of the brochure.
