This was my first ever ethics course. I really enjoyed this class for a couple different reasons. First, I completed this course over the winter intersession which allowed me to work at my own pace. Also, I really enjoyed the content of the course because I got to learn about new and upcoming technologies in the medical field. The course work invited students to contemplate their beliefs. We were given two view points on a topic with evidence to explain both points of view, then expected to given evidence why our chosen point of view was the most ethical. As this was one of my first college classes to evaluate reasoning, I feel this class allowed me to strengthen my persuasive writing skills. Improving upon my persuasive writing skills, was a very beneficial to me as I used this skill in almost all of my general education courses.
