My videography experience includes scouting areas to ensure proper video shots can be taken along with shooting, editing, and showcasing videos to tell a story about a general topic or person. I can use these skills to create training videos for new and incoming disaster response personnel who will be working on the ground to help enhance proper completion of procedures. I can also use these skills to shoot and edit videos of disasters to show to a general audience for the purpose of gaining funds to help in the recovery phase of a disaster. Finally, I can use these skills to help look at the disaster management procedures to determine their effectiveness on the field.
Shannon Blunt Biography
I created this biography video on a fellow classmate during the spring of 2018 where I performed pre-production, production, and post-production of the video. I coordinated with the subject shown to schedule times where I recorded her with video recording equipment before editing the pieces together in the presented video. This project helped show me how to using video editing to tell a person’s story to a general audience.
