Hello, my name is Steven Herring and I am a senior at Longwood University majoring in Communication Studies. I have a passion for helping those who are suffering and I wish to feed that passion by working in disaster management where I may help people prepare and support those who have suffered from a disaster. I have an interest of one day using intercultural communication to better communication strategies within disaster and humanitarian organizations so that response times can be quicker in the event of a disaster.
