Scholarship, in terms of academics, mean a lot to me as a part of the honors college. Throughout high school i was very focused on my academics and was a very conscientious student and that is still true after my freshmen year in college. I have worked very hard throughout my first year to do the best I can in my classes. I think that being a part of Longwood’s Honors College makes it even more important to devote time to focus on academics. Additionally, with being in a sorority I am encouraged to focus a lot on academics. I hope that throughout my four years I will continue to strive to do my best. Putting in effort now through school will make the payoff of being a nurse that much more rewarding.
