Anatomy (Biology 206)

Biology 206 was my first Anatomy class I had ever taken and I wasn’t sure what to expect. However looking back on my first year as a whole, my anatomy classes were definitely my favorite. I had Dr. Ludwar and he made class very challenging but also very doable. For lectures he would go over his power points. Dr. Ludwar’s power points were very detailed which helped students better grasp the concepts we needed to know for exams. Overall Biology 206 was very challenging and tested me in many ways. I learned how I study best when it comes to learning how body processes work as well as memorizing every bone and muscle in the human body. This class will help me immensely with moving forward in nursing school. It is crucial to understand how the body works and especially to know what bone, muscle, organ, etc. you are looking at.

Artifact:

An artifact I chose to show is a powerpoint slide. This slide is a good representation of how Dr. Ludwar’s slides weren’t just words to memorize but instead they depicted the comprehensive understanding that student’s needed to know. This specific power point slide depicts how the separate hemispheres of the brain are specific to different functions. I personally like how Dr. Ludwar included slides such as these into his lectures because they allow me to test my understanding of the material and not just my memorization.
