Community service has always been a huge part of my life. When I was in high school I made it a personal goal to obtain the community service sticker on my diploma. I was involved in many different activities for community service such as outreach dance performances, caregiving, and tutoring children. Throughout my first year of college I was so excited to join a sorority for the community service aspect. My sororities philanthropy is breast cancer awareness and so I have been involved in many community service activities for that association. I think community service is so important for everyone to get involved in but especially for college students. I think that when students work together for the greater good of people a bond develops which grows the school closer together.
