I have an Associates Degree from Northern Virginia Community college in General Education and a Multimedia design Certificate.

I have volunteered at Fairfax Public Access and have been trained in the use of Studio Cameras. I have worked on live and pre-recorded productions. I worked on the teleprompter on The Inside Scoop, and Floor Directed (relayed information from the director to the talent on camera)  and used the teleprompter for The Emerald Planet.

I am proficient in Adobe Animate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Aftereffects, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe Photoshop. I am also confident in using the Microsoft office suite.

Courses of note from Northern Virginia Community College:

•  ART130 – Intro/Multimedia

In this course I learned about several programs in the Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. This was a good introduction to these powerful designing tools.

•  ART203 – Animation I

My first introduction to Adobe Animate. Here I started my journey on learning how to animate digitally and learn the ins and outs of the program.

•  ART208 – Video Techniques

In this class I learned how to shoot video and learned editing software. I became confident in using Adobe Premiere.

•  ART204 – Animation II

A class that built off what I learned in Animation I, here I became more confident in my use of adobe animate and worked in a team to create.

•  ART140A – Intro to Graphic Skills

This class focused on traditional designing with pen and paper. Traditional art still has a place in our modern world and starting with a pencil and paper can lead to stronger designs.
