I am Samantha Sedgwick, and welcome to my Online Portfolio! I grew up in Reston, a town in Northern Virginia right outside of Washington DC. I previously attended and graduated from Northern Virginia Community College before I began to attend Longwood University full time. Longwood attracted me because of its quiet campus, historical atmosphere and friendly faculty.

I am a Communications Studies Major with Digital Media concentration. I am interested in film and media, so it was an obvious choice. While I am a proud Communications Studies Major, I still have a passion for art and design. I love creative pursuits such as drawing and writing. I hope to someday have a job in creating media, whether it be film, video games or animation.
