Reflection-
This rhetorical analysis required the use and understanding of a multitude of rhetorical tools and concepts. The knowledge required to complete this assignment was a testament to this courses learning outcomes. For instance, it covers outcome 1 to engage in the process of citizen leadership by investigating multiple perspectives on important public issues, outcome 3 to choose appropriate formats in writing for a variety of purposes, and outcome 4 to analyze the effectiveness of their own texts and processes for specific rhetorical situations with our class peer reviews for the assignment. I learned a great deal about rhetoric from this project due to the lead up and preparation for the project as well as through the extensive research and course knowledge required to complete it. I also learned to be a better and more active citizen with the topic I chose for my paper because the topics had to all be about some kind of world issue.
