This course was a winter intersession Biomedical ethics course that even though I never had any face to face or direct contact with the professor, it is still one of my favorite general education classes I have ever taken. It taught me a lot about managing my time and reaching out to a professor if I needed too since it was basically an independent course. It opened my mind up to a lot of different views, ideas, and ways to look at the world that I had never heard or thought of. I learned more in depth scientifically, emotionally, and morally about a range of ethical issues in the world today.
Below is my final paper for this course. I was to pick a controversial biomedical topic, find a scholarly article or journal and argue for or against the argument in the article. I had to construct my argument so it was sound and explain it in detail with evidence.
