Grades have always been incredibly important to my education experience, and I enjoy setting high standards for myself to meet. Honors encourages this academic excellence, setting GPA standards and commending its students for their successes. Our advisors are supportive of our journies, providing advice and encouragement when needed. Honors allows priority in selecting classes, which allows me to keep on track with my degree as well as I possibly can, and they provide honors courses, which allow for a different perspective on a general education piece, or provide different courses altogether. These courses enrich the education experience and make it all the more intriguing, shaping me into more of a critical thinker and hard worker.
