Educational Philosophy

I believe that a leader is a role model for teachers and students, yet also is a change agent for motivating the community to share into his or her vision, plans, and goals for a school.   Students need to receive the best education possible and everyone has a role to play in their education by, what they can offer to students to be successful learners.  Everyone involved will need to be focused on the vision, to help implement the goals that we have collectively agreed upon, to improve our school and community for the future.  Collaboration, communication, and building a foundation of trust and confidence is vital in working as a team.   As an administrator, I am dedicated to modeling and building positive relationships with the professional staff, students, parents, and community members to create a positive school climate and culture of mutual respect.  We want our students to be prepared for real world situations and future citizens of the 21st century.

As an administrator, I intend to empower and motivate everyone to strive for excellence in our school. One of our main goals will be to promote and maintain a student- centered approach to learning. Our educational goals will not only be foster academic success, but also include interventions that will help students with their social, physical, and emotional needs within in a safe school environment.  We will strive together to give hope and inspiration to all students through meeting their learning needs and expectations in a supportive approach to learning and best practices.
