Camera Operator
- Operate and shoot with Canon XF300 camera in over 20 live sporting events throughout the semester
- Serves as a motivated member of the production team with all set up and tear down needs
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced sports environment with knowledge of rules and plays of the game
Graphics
- Able to create graphics using Viz Trio
- Trusted to send and take out graphics
- Responsible for editing graphics during the broadcast
- Created about 200 lower third graphics for the 2017 Big South Softball Tournament
Replay
- Able to edit replays on 3play
- Trusted to slow replays down to an acceptable speed to see what happened
- Trusted with picking the replay looks
- Able to tag replays using a tagging system
Technical Director
- Trusted with switching during the broadcast
- Assist other broadcast members with troubleshooting
- Responsible for leading the team during setup and tear down if the director is busy
Color Commentator
- Responsible for adding insight to Men’s soccer and Women’s basketball broadcasts
- Trusted with preparing for broadcasts by researching the opposing team and picking out important players on both teams
- Filled in for the Big South Women’s Soccer Quarterfinal game and Men’s basketball games
- Looked for and talked about trends during the game
Play-By-Play Commentator
- Trusted with narrating field hockey, and lacrosse broadcasts
- Responsible for researching both teams and talking to coaches before the game
- Responsible for asking the color commentator thought-provoking questions about the game
