For our common good project, we chose to explore the different inequalities that women experience in the workplace. The purpose of this assignment was to take our class concepts and apply them to a real life issue that we are passionate about, and we believed that gender inequality was an important topic that needed more recognition because of how often it is still overlooked today. It was an eye opening experience because it was very clear that this is still a pervasive issue in the working world today. By interviewing several women and men, we were able to gain insight on what it is like to experience inequality in the workplace.
