This assignment, to create a functioning and professional press release, was a great exercise in creating a document that showed enthusiasm while writing plainly without subjectivity.  This shows the use of Learning outcome 2 (writing clearly and professionally).  It was an interesting task to write about an item that you wish to sell, while attempting to avoid the use of overly flamboyant or flowery language.  Often times it is important for a student to write as much as possible about any given subject, but for me, this assignment was difficult because it required the length to be kept short with my opinions at a minimum.
