Throughout SOC-101: Principles of Sociology, I became more informed about the relationships between individuals and the society in which they live in. Within the course, discussions pertaining to family, religion, marriage, gender roles, etc. provided me with a profound insight into rather controversial topics within society today. This insight enabled me to view situations far more objectively and allowed me to analyze situations among individuals and society.
