Biology 114 is a course that counts towards my major. We discussed genetics, diseases, plants, animals, and so much more. We went outside multiple times throughout the course to see what we were learning right in front of us. As this was a course for liberal studies majors, we were being taught how to teach science. We had a couple of projects in which we had to come up with our own lesson plan based on the things we have learned and then teach it to the class as if they were elementary school children. This class was very interesting and beneficial to me. In the beginning of the class, we learned about cancer and viewed staggering statistics. Attached is a cancer research paper I wrote.
