In this course, i was surprised to find out how interesting i found the information we learned most days. The content in this course both shocked me and made me feel empowered to make a change in the world. I was aware of the climate change happening around us, but in this course, i felt like i learned so much more in regard to this. Because of the small class size of seven, i felt more comfortable to share my opinion and actively listen to others. I also enjoyed the writing portion of this course and felt like i could share my opinions through the many writing assignments we had throughout the assignment. Lastly, i thought the end of the semester urban heat island project was a big success and a great opportunity in my college experience!
