While I did not need to enhance this class, I am very glad I did. We ended up being able to make a split section, so it was really cool to be able to work collaboratively with my peers and a professor in a way that worked well for all involved. This class was not in conjunction with the Practicum Semester courses, but all of us who were enhancing happened to be in a placement that semester. Instead of giving us a separate assignment, we were able to synthesize everything we were learning in class about incorporating writing into the classroom and analyze how we saw it in action in an actual classroom. As someone who hopes to go about integrating all aspects of learning into every lesson, learning specifically about integrating writing (something I realized I was more comfortable with than I had expected) was very eye opening and is something I plan to make sure to do in my own future teaching.
