Having grown up being involved in theatre and listening to show tunes, I was very excited about the opportunity to take a theatre class for one of my Gen Eds. Our final project was to take on a more behind-the-scenes role and design a set piece, prop, background, or costume for any theatre piece. Being a fan of Disney and their Broadway legacy, I chose Beauty and the Beast to make a backdrop for since I enjoy painting and felt most comfortable stepping into that role as opposed to others.

*Note: I later added the words over the trees in the stylings of the Broadway production to make it more memorable for the future.
