Reflection

In Senior Seminar, my group and I were tasked with presenting a New York Times article to the class. One of my group-mates found an interesting paper about ants becoming zombified by a fungus and we were all hooked. While trying to figure out a catchy title, the same group-mate came up with the current title and we all became even more excited about our presentation. When looking through the article I learned much more about fungi, ants, and evolution then I ever thought I would. My group worked hard on our presentation and attempted to bring this general audience article to our fellow scientists.

After our presentation was complete, we were excited to bring this subject to light in our scientific world. Through this, I learned how to make a general audience article seem more scientific while still maintaining its credibility as a general audience article. I also learned how to work with others who may have differing opinions, yet bring our opinions together to make an incredible presentation
