In Anatomy and Physiology, for our second project we were tasked with choosing a semester long project and writing a proposal on this project. I had not written a research proposal in a while and was nervous about writing one. Although I was nervous I was also extremely excited about our project because we were testing blood pressure before and after drinking a caffeinated drink.
While writing the proposal, my group-mates taught me a lot about what a short proposal should contain and how to properly communicate these things with our professor. Through this process I was able to write effectively in a way I had not normally done. This opportunity allowed me to expand my knowledge of writing in another context as well as in a way I will probably use the rest of my life.
