In Senior Seminar, we read a book about Henrietta Lacks who is known by most as HeLa. After reading this book we talked about common themes we saw and were tasked with giving a presentation on an assigned topic. My group and I were tasked with presenting about science and religion in the book. I was excited to write on this topic because I feel as though I have a lot to say on this topic and was happy to be heard.

My group and I saw a lot of the same common themes within religion and science in the book which made it easier for us to put something together. I enjoyed giving a presentation on this as well as put my opinions out there. As scientists we should be well rounded and this was a good way for me to help my fellow scientists understand this fact.
