In Senior Seminar, we were tasked with thinking of a research proposal and question. I had not written a research proposal in a while and was nervous about writing one. Although I was nervous I was also extremely excited about having the freedom to pick my topic and research it. I automatically thought about the effects of childhood habits but thought teenagers would be a good group to study since all of my research was based on children.
While working on my poster I became excited with how I was going to get my ideas out to the public. Through this process I was able to make a poster and present it to many different people, not just scientists. Many of my friends came and asked questions even though they had no knowledge of any science behind my project.
