In Anatomy and Physiology, I never imagined writing a general audience paper about hand size. When Dr. Ludwar told us to think of a project we could conduct in one lab period, my group and I immediately came up with measuring hand size in men and women. I will admit I was slightly hesitant, but after compiling the data and researching the subject I became excited to write a general audience paper.

Originally, my general audience paper was not very creative, until I came up with the title. This title came from various research and an interesting saying I have always heard but never thought very hard into. Through our research we found that the hand size of men and women are not very different causing me to strike out the meaning of this commonly used saying. After this, I was easily able to write about this subject in an extremely creative way.

Before this paper, I had never really written a short general audience paper that would go into a newspaper article, but in the end I thoroughly enjoyed using my creative mind to write this paper.
