This course is an introduction to the historical analysis of postmodern/contemporary literary and cultural texts dating from 1985-present. Students are to discuss the relationship between digital technologies and society.

For this course there was a variety of texts that gave different perspectives on this topic. I like reading however writing essays are a different story. I have trouble putting words on the page and making transitions. Learning how to organize and orchestrate a 4-5 page essay really threw me for a loop, but asking my professor for advice helped me out a lot.

I chose this artifact because I got a good grade on it and I thought that based on the style of the book, Bear v. Shark, I portrayed the message well. My assignment was to create a political cartoon using examples from the chosen text with a reflection that further explained my work.
