These activities helped me a lot in understanding rhetorical tools for arguments/conversations. Learning the difference between pathos, logos, and ethos helped me particularly. Also, the idea of keeping your “opponent” on their back foot by asking specific, pointed questions was helpful. It was also interesting to note the importance of backing off and apologizing when you are wrong, both to save face and help yourself in the long run.
