SPED 411 Assistive Technology and Alternative Communication in the General Curriculum

I enjoyed learning about the many devices created to help people who could benefit from assistive technology. I found it fascinating how creative developers have been to design specialized tools for transportation, using online technology, eating and other life skills, and for several other purposes. I have talked about the many uses of assistive technology and how it can help students with disabilities with family members since this is a field that fascinates me. I am curious to see what tools are used in schools other than the ones I have seen so far.
