Service has been a value embedded in my soul ever since I was a young child. Through my church, I have been heavily envolved in mission projects and community service. Naturally, when I arrived to Longwood as a Freshman, I was hoping to find more ways to continue serving. I was lucky to become involved in service during the Honors Retreat (I volunteered with Movers & Shakers) and then I joined the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. Through APO, I have been able to attend many service projects, and every semester I will get the opportunity to lead a service project.
