The contents contained in this Portfolio have been invaluable in increasing my knowledge of the Professional and Technical writing world. The Correspondence aided me in my ability to create block lettering formats effectively and helped me with diction for certain documents. The Brochure helped me to be more interactive and creative with my audience, in the sense of attention, interest, desire, and action. The Formal and Report, as well as the presentation that went with it, showed how effective I can be when creating longer and more intensive documents. I learned organization, attention to detail, and the ability to get the interest and attention of my audience.
All these skills can be easily be transferred to almost any real-world scenario or occupation. My focus may be leaning more toward creative writing, but a film knowledge in the art of professional writing world can go even further than I ever could have imagined. I feel a lot more confident about my future now that I have these skills.
