Young Aviators Virginia, founded in 2018, was designed as an online networking platform for aviators and aviation enthusiasts age 30 and below to connect. The page postings consist of photos, videos, and upcoming events or fly-ins for the members to participate in.
At Longwood University, I work as a Resident Assistant and the Budget Manager for the Longwood Landings apartment community. Previously, I have held a position as a Desk Aide, the Public Relations Chair of Longwood College Republicans, and a News Writer and Business Staff for the school’s newspaper, The Rotunda.
“Heath Aviation” was founded to showcase my achievements and endeavors in my aviation career path and will continue to be maintained throughout my continued professional aviation track. Since mid-2015, I have worked at my hometown airport, Hanover County Municipal – KOFP in Ashland, VA. I began as a Customer Service Representative at HOVA Flight Services and later created the Youth Programs/Community Outreach Department with the role of Youth Programs Coordinator starting in early August 2017. I have since organized two large public events and had over 600 people in attendance between both events.
