Throughout English 400, I have learned how to analysis text and think about the reasons for why the author wrote the texts. As well as what is the author trying to do, like persuade or inform. I have also learned to identify ethos, logos, and pathos to help determine the authors credibility or reasons for writing. Majoring in Environmental Science, I have to read case studies and analysis them through a scientific standpoint. What I have learned in English 400 will help me understand the case studies better.
